Fast Stats Sports is a comprehensive basketball scorekeeper, digital scorebook, and analytical game-tracking application designed for coaches, leagues, athletic coordinators, players, and families.

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information and sports performance data you entrust to us. This Privacy Policy governs your access to and use of our mobile services, our website, shot chart software, team data analytics systems, and all associated software provided on or in connection with the Fast Stats Sports platform (collectively, the "Service").

By registering for or using our Service, you agree that you understand and consent to the collection, storage, use, and disclosure of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.

2. Information We Collect

A. Account and Registration Information

• Profile Details: Optional details you provide to personalize your account, such as first and last name, profile image, phone number, and account role (e.g., Coach, Player, Parent, or Scout).

B. Roster, Game, and Performance Data (User Content)

• Team and Roster Information: Team names, age brackets, school or club affiliations, player jersey numbers, and team roster lists.
• Live Scorekeeping and Game Events: Detailed play-by-play actions logged during games (e.g., field goals made/missed, free throws, assists, rebounds, blocks, steals, fouls, turnovers, and substitutions).
• Shot Chart Coordinates: Precise location mapping on a virtual basketball court where shots are taken to generate shot charts and calculate shot efficiency metrics.
• Performance Metrics: Analytical computations calculated from live scorekeeping inputs, including Effective Field Goal Percentage (eFG%), True Shooting Percentage (TS%), Rebound Percentage, and Turnover Ratio.

C. Location and Geographical Data

• Event Locations: Physical coordinates or name details of sports complexes, schools, and courts where games are held, to organize schedules and team maps.
• General Location: General location data (such as IP address) to determine local regional settings, local tournament groups, or weather conditions relevant to scheduled outdoor tournaments. We do not track persistent real-time background GPS data without your explicit permission.

D. Technical and Device Information

• Device Identifiers: Unique hardware or software identifiers (e.g., mobile advertising IDs, device model, operating system, and app version) to manage notifications and diagnose bugs.
• System Log Files: IP address, browser type, landing pages, clickstream data, system crashes, and operational timestamps logged automatically by our servers to improve reliability.

3. How We Use Information

We utilize the collected information to deliver and enhance our sport analytics platform. Specifically, we use your data to:

• Operate and Provide the Service: Enable live game scorekeeping, maintain rosters, sync game files across team accounts, and display digital scorebooks.
• Compute Basketball Analytics: Generate real-time shot charts, compile official box scores, and calculate player development metrics like eFG%, TS%, rebound ratios, and scouting portfolios.
• Account Management and Billing: Verify your identity, manage premium features, and validate subscriptions processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store billing channels.
• Communications: Send essential service alerts (e.g., password resets, technical notifications, and security updates). Because these communications are critical, you may not opt out of them.
• Optimization and Debugging: Monitor traffic metrics, identify user experience bottlenecks, diagnose app crashes, and deploy automatic app updates to your mobile device.

We do not sell your personal information or sports performance data to third parties. We only share information under strict, controlled circumstances as detailed below:

• Authorized Team Members and Followers: Basketball statistics, rosters, box scores, and shot charts are shared directly with other members associated with your team profile (e.g., coaches sharing stats with players or parents).
• Public Distribution: If you explicitly choose to make team stats, game results, or a player recruitment portfolio public or shareable via a public web link, that specific information becomes viewable by scouts, recruiters, and the public.
• Service Providers: We share data with trusted third-party vendors who provide operational infrastructure, such as secure cloud database hosting, push notification delivery, and app performance analytics. These providers are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose data if legally required to do so in response to a subpoena, court order, or search warrant, or to protect the safety, property, and rights of our users or the general public.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your information collected through the Service is securely stored and processed in the United States. We utilize commercially reasonable administrative, physical, and technical safeguards—such as secure database endpoints and TLS encryption during transit—to protect your personal details and player records.

Active account data is preserved for as long as your account remains open. If an account is cancelled or inactive for an extended period, we reserve the right to permanently delete archived game sheets and stats, as outlined in our Terms of Service.

6. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Fast Stats Sports takes youth player privacy very seriously. We fully comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

While our Service is utilized by youth basketball programs, clubs, and schools, the application is not directed at children under the age of 13. Children under the age of 13 are prohibited from creating independent accounts on our Service.

• Coach and Parental Management: Children under 13 may only have player profiles created and managed within a team roster by an authorized adult, such as a head coach, athletic director, or legal parent/guardian.
• Consent and Warranties: If a coach or school administrator registers a player under 13 in a roster and inputs their statistical data, that administrator warrants they have obtained express parental/guardian consent to record and compute stats for the child.
• No Direct Data Harvesting: We do not intentionally harvest or request personal contact details (such as emails or phone numbers) directly from children under 13.
• Removal Procedures: If we discover that personal information has been collected directly from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that data from our active databases as quickly as possible. Please contact us immediately if you believe we hold unauthorized data for a minor.

7. Your Choices and Privacy Rights

You maintain full control over your personal profiles and recorded statistical documents:

• Profile Updates: You may edit your email, name, password, profile photo, and team roster affiliations directly within the app settings.
• Roster and Stats Editing: Coaches retain the ability to adjust recorded game logs, correct erroneous shot coordinates, or delete incorrect stats sheets.

8. Third-Party Services and External Links

Our Service contains links to third-party stores, platforms, and services (such as the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and third-party sports league trackers). We are not responsible for the privacy practices, cookie management, or content policies of third-party platforms. When clicking external links, you are subject to the privacy regulations of those respective entities.

We may modify or update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory adjustments.
